1.Asking recommendation

Asking (meminta saran) adalah cara seseorang menanyakan saran dalam bahasa Inggris ketika mempunyai masalah.  Asking suggestion berupa pertanyaan.

  Ex:

* may i use your pen
* may i borrow your rulers
* can i have some drink
* can i eat this cake
* can you help me

*may i have a softdrink                                                                                                                                                 *can *can you give me a candy

2. Giving

Giving (memberi saran) adalah cara seseorang memberikan saran kepada orang lain dalam bahasa Inggris. Giving suggestion biasanya berupa kalimat.

Ex:

• I suggest you to + verb 1 (I suggest you to go to doctor.)
• I advice you to + verb 1 (I advice you to breakfast before going to school.)
• You should + verb 1 (You should download greenday song.)

3. Offering Something

            Offering something(menawarkan sesuatu) adalah seseorang yang menawarkan sesuatu pada orang lain

Ex:

*Can I get you some ...?
*Would you like some ...?
*May I offer you some ...?
*Would you like me to get you some ....?

4. Accepting an offer

            Accepting an offer(menerima penawaran) adalah menerima penawaran dari seseorang

Ex:

-I’ll go to your party 

-I’ll do that for you

-Yes, Of Course I will come to your house    

                     

5. Refusing an offer

            Refusing an offering(menolak penawaran) adalah menolak penawaran yang ditawarkan oleh seseoarang

Ex:                      

*No, thanks

*I’m busy now

*Sorry I can’t go    

6. Asking opinion

            Asking opinion(meminta pendapat) adalah meminta pendapat kepada seseorang

7. Giving opinion

            Giving opinion(memberi pendapat) adalah member pendapat kepada seseorang yang memintai pendapat

Ex:

8. Agreeing opinion

            Agreeing opinion adalah menyetujui pendapat seseorang

Ex:

That’s right!
Absolutely!
Exactly!
Me too!
Yes, I agree!
I totally agree!
I couldn’t agree more!
I see exactly what you mean!
You're right. That's a good point. 

9. Disagreeing opinion
            Disagreeing opinion adalah tidak menyetujui pendapat seseorang

I don’t agree!
I totally disagree!
Absolutely not!
That’s not right!
I’m not sure about that.

10. Satisfaction & dissatisfaction

Expressing satisfaction is an expression  for a feeling of happiness or pleasure   because you have achieved something or   got what you wanted.

Dissatisfaction expression is a feeling    we express when we do not get as   enough as we hope and feel disappointed   with some conditions, we must be dissatisfied.

Example of informal expressing satisfaction and dissatisfaction

Satisfaction :

•Terrific!

Dissatisfaction :

•Horrible!
